arc one. hela, crown princess of asgard, acts as her father's executioner and commander of his armies in their conquest of the nine realms of yggdrasil. (catch-all for everything before hela's imprisonment.)arc two. following odin's change of heart regarding their conquest, and after a failed attempt to take the throne by force, hela is banished to hel and locked within the realm by odin's life force, as she cannot be killed. some time into her imprisonment she nearly breaks free, resulting in the massacre of the valkyries, and odin having to secure her binds himself.arc three. after 1,600 years, odin's death allows hela to escape hel, appearing in norway before thor and loki. this verse follows the events of thor ragnarok, up to hela's apparent death by surtur's destruction of asgard.arc four. the destruction of asgard leaves hela weakened, but as she cannot be killed, she is trapped in hel once again. too weak at first, it's a long while before she regains enough strength to leave the home of the dead.
